This series of events is designed to shed light on the research that our professors are engaged in, and attempt to acquaint economics students with the know-how to construct research at the highest level. Each segment will focus on different areas of economics so that we are able to capture the interest of as much of the economics student body as possible. In addition, this series of events helps bridge the gap between professor and student and fosters a better relationship between the two.
It is obvious that regulation and financial markets have had battles in the past, and that battle persists today. So the pressing question of contemporary times is, should we regulate the financial markets?
To give you more insight into this matter, the ESA is proud to present our next speaker in the 'Professor Research Seminar Series', Brenda Spotton Visano. Our professor will be speaking on the topic of 'Tensions Between Consumer Financial Protection and Consumer Financial Responsibility'.
Come see this state of the art research from one of the most knowledgeable in this area, and decide for yourself the answer to the ever-so-controversial question.
